01 — APPROACH
“A strong French program should give you more than lessons. It should give you direction.”

AVELINGO is built around a simple idea: know where the learner is starting, understand where they want to go, and build the instruction around that journey.

WHAT YOU ACTUALLY WORK ON

French that develops across all four skills.

AVELINGO programs are built to develop the language behind the goal. That means lessons connect grammar, vocabulary, listening, reading, speaking and writing instead of treating each one as a separate subject.

01

Speaking

Pronunciation, sentence building, spontaneous response, interaction and fluency for real conversations and oral exam tasks.

02

Listening

Understanding everyday and exam-style French at increasing speed, with practice identifying detail, intent and context.

03

Reading

Vocabulary growth, comprehension, inference and reading speed across practical and exam-style texts.

04

Writing

Clear structure, accurate grammar, useful vocabulary and feedback that helps you write with more control and confidence.

FRENCH FOR CANADA

Your French can open new possibilities.

For many learners, French is part of a larger Canadian goal. AVELINGO helps you build the language proficiency behind that goal through structured instruction and recognized exam preparation.

Language education only. Immigration eligibility and strategy should be confirmed through official Government of Canada resources or an authorized professional.
THE LEARNING EXPERIENCE

More than a weekly French class.

Strong instruction matters, but so does what happens around the lesson.

Live Instruction

Attend live online classes with an instructor who can explain, correct and adapt in real time.

Structured Curriculum

Follow an organized learning sequence instead of jumping between disconnected topics.

Guided Practice

Use focused practice between lessons to strengthen the skills that need work.

Individual Progress

Receive guidance based on your development, not a generic pace set for everyone.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Before you begin.

Do I need to know French before joining?

No. Complete beginners can start with General French. If you already know some French, a placement assessment helps determine the right starting level.

Are classes live or recorded?

AVELINGO is designed around live online instruction. Guided practice and learning materials may be provided between classes, and recorded learning can be added where appropriate.

Can I prepare for TCF Canada or TEF Canada?

Yes. AVELINGO offers exam-focused preparation for both. Your starting level matters, so some learners may first benefit from strengthening General French before intensive exam preparation.

How large are group classes?

Small-group classes are capped at eight learners to keep lessons interactive and allow meaningful speaking time and instructor feedback.

Does AVELINGO provide immigration advice?

No. AVELINGO provides French-language education and exam preparation. Immigration eligibility, legal advice and program strategy should be confirmed through official Government of Canada resources or an authorized professional.
